Outside London has some amazing places to visit and I think people who want history with a bit of flavour should go and visit.

1. Cornwall - visiting Cornwall is like going to a different country; the sea and beaches are out of this world
2. Devon - great for camping and seeing a different countryside part of England.
3. Canterbury, Kent - I am sure you have heard of the Canterbury Tales! Canterbury is such a great and rich town to visit and explore for a day - even though it is largely a University town it's great for exploring!
4. Wales - a nice drive to Wales is so much fun! There is so much to explore with lots of greenery and hills are amazing!
